Yup, I honestly done condone it, not after what I’ve been through and seen as a Hawks and Atlanta fan in general, but something tells me Clint has a feeling he’s gonna crush them and is confident about it.

That was pretty funny actually.  

Terrance Moore is the best of the era of Moore, Hummer, Bradley, Schultz and that's saying literally nothing.   None of them gave two craps about the Hawks for years and years and about bi annually would weigh in with their 'expert' opinions which were usually: the hawks suck.    AJC priority coverage looked like this for years:

1. uga football

2. falcons

3. braves

4. nascar

5. tech football

6. michael jordan

7. hawks

I don't think its bulletin board material because if you need a soundbite to get your offense going because your team has been outplayed all series long then you doing something very wrong.

I can understand that we need to be professional but how many people, media or anybody has downplayed this team since the series started (How many ppl choose the Knicks over the Hawks) or disrespected us (saying FU and spitting on Trae or saying that they want 76ers and Nets after one win).  The best part is that only Clint is saying this not everybody else.

I'm pretty sure what Capela said in the media is pretty tame compared to what's being said on the court. The bad blood is just spilling out into the media. As much as I prefer letting your game do the talking, a part of me is kind of impressed with the edge these guys have shown during this series. I thought the Knicks being physical with them and playing bully ball would have at least some success, but the Hawks aren't backing down at all. I was dead wrong about how I thought this series would go. These guys aren't the finesse team I thought they were going into the Playoffs.

I said previously the Hawks in the regular season guarded Randle as if they forgot he was a lefty.....not so much in the playoffs. They are sitting on that left hand....and the Knicks have 2.

That's all I mean.  All of the criticism about Trae is turning out to actually be true for Randle.  Randle was a regular season star with big stats, but can't carry a team during the playoffs. 
I'm still being too hard on him.  It's not his fault.  He put in a lot of effort this year.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I for one took Clint to be saying that the Knicks get more credit for appearing physical than they really are, and at the same time, the Hawks have shown they're capable of meeting whatever level of physicality they're able to muster... and... win while they're doing it.

Got into a Twitter debate the other night with someone desperate to add a goon as our number one free agent priority in the off-season. While I don't object to adding someone who fits that description, that guy's not going to get on the floor very much regardless--broken record here, not even being in the reported mix for Dieng told us all we needed to know that Okongwu's development wasn't going to be a lesser priority to winning in the 2021 playoffs, so it follows we shouldn't expect it to be any different for next season... and Nate just doesn't play more than 10 guys if he doesn't have a blow-out situation.

Circling back to the point of saying that, hard to see how our identity would ever edge closer to a Bad Boys team as long as the starting five are who they are. That said, I like a team that envisions itself as being able to turn up the heat to fight others' fire with the same temperature, and still not get so far away from their style of game that it detracts from winning (... which is ordinarily the main point of trying to play bully ball to begin with, of course).
