Official Game Thread: Pelicans at Hawks

Murray is playing at  an All Star level.  He wasn't as efficient shooting as I would like to see, but his overall impact on the game is huge. 

I missed Hunter in my previous post.  Excellent game from him on both ends. Loved the 6 rebounds.

A nail biting thriller that shouldn’t have been.

Trae played hero ball and was chucking..

But a win is a win...

Nate bragging on JJ in his press conference is good to hear..

Different angle on that Trae pass....I can't get enough of it...a curve ball...just wow!

 

Hopefully this 3 Jumpstarts the return of JC's 3pt shot.

We won and lost this game about 6 different times.

Considering the improbable crap that went their way, I'm not so concerned.  Just glad we won.

Fantastic game. New Orleans is a good team. If we play with that type of energy and focus on offense and defense for the rest of the season we will be hard to beat and fun to watch. Welcome back Clint!!  
Every body showed up tonight. Even John though he didn't score a lot. I thought he played a great defensive game and hit the game winning shot.  Dre was great. JJ is coming!  I think this Trae and Dejounte thing is gonna work. Lol.

Whew, just got home and read through the comments here... so happy we won...

• Win is a win -- this game should not have been so close but [very] soft foul calls kept NO in the game every time we stretched a lead
• Murray is a winner through and through, dude plays so hard and makes winning plays
• Trae is the best passer in the league.  The more chemistry the new faces in the lineup build with Trae, the deadlier that Bench+Trae lineup will be.  He has unreal vision and anticipation
• Capela looked really nice today
• JJ is the real dead.  He's inconsistent which is expected for a guy his age and experience, but I look forward to watching him get better and better, so talented

We won this game from DJM, Capela and Trae. Our bench is incapable of scoring without Bogi in there. That Kevin trade to just avoid paying the luxury tax is really hurting us. Kevin is on fire in Sacramento and Justin Holliday looks like a zombie on offense.

Kevin scored 9 points in 32 minutes tonight. He wouldn't have been much help tonight.  

He is lighting up out there in SAC though and I wish he was still here, because I have no idea why Nate kept running those actions for Justin. It's like when he plays in Atlanta he forgets how to shoot.

I wish AJ could get a bit more time this game when JH doesn't have it.

CC wasn’t messing around tonight. Our big man came to play and hustle all over the place. This is the CC we been looking for all year!!! Let’s go!!!! He was puttin in work tonight, love it.

Dejounte with the triple double! Trae with a double double. Hunter played some hustling ball all night long. Our team just had another level of energy that we fans have been yearning for for so long. Came to fruition tonight.

Jalen played some nice minutes too specially in the first half. He played his best game of the young season. Keep it going JJ!!!

Disappointed it went into overtime but give us credit, in the end we got the W.

GO HAWKS!!!
