It’s fun dogging Bogi but we gotta lay off a bit.  He’s out there to shoot, period.  Despite how bad he looked at times he still was +6.

I love Trae limiting his shots when the game calls for it and selling out on shot creation passing and team defense.  I know @TheNorthCydeRises wants to fight about that but I don’t lol.

So AJ just gonna shoot 65% for the rest of the season.  I’m with it.

For once I don’t have to apologize for betting on the Hawks.  Let’s go.

 

No sir.  I respect what Trae did tonight.  If others have it going, he can afford to defer like that. 

I just don't know why this fan base has such a big problem with Trae scoring the ball.  It's not like Trae scoring 30+ points in a game has been a detriment to the team the past 2.5 years.  Why would people want to neuter Trae, when he has consistently shown that he has the ability to be a great scorer?

I have no problem with him picking and choosing his spots to have a high scoring output game.  If his teammates can pick up the slack, that makes it easier for him to do it.

I hope all the naysayers understand why we needed a guy like Murray. Trae is the defensive focus of teams, all eyes are on him...... DJ is the outlet for punishing teams that focus on Trae.

I don’t know @NBASupes and @Sothron

at some point Nick, Landry, & Korver really have to consider the fact that we tend to win when this team is healthy.
 

we are now 14-7 …how much evidence has to be shown to reconsider holding off on trades is what I’m wondering. 
 

if we happen to go 20-7 when fully healthy…how do you justify trading any core player ?

Other than JC, I am not expecting much change but I know they want change.

I haven't made a post on realgm or been over there since well before this season started. Mods there were telling me he was trying to get me banned because I was too "outspoken" as a Hawks fan. Screw that. I don't need that kind of crap.

More winning makes our players value go up. The converse is also true.

Okay, I'm dipping my finger into the hopium.  They are playing really freaking good defense and I don't know what's happened with the offense, but the ball movement is back.  They are playing as a team.  

Trae - This was one of his better games.  He didn't have to take over so he just got his assists and played tough defense. He was also very encouraging on the floor with his teammates tonight.  I don't know if all the bad media is impacting him to make this change, but I like the positive vibes with his teammates on the floor.

DJ - Was an all star tonight. 

JC - Played tough.

OO - Not his best game, but he still played well.

Hunter - Played great defense on Luka, but the refs let Luka get away with offensive fouls, but Hunter played tough. 

JJ - Had some very solid minutes. 

AJ - Superstar in the making.  He needs to get more aggressive about taking his shot, but I love for a rookie he's always looking to make the right play. 

Bogi - Is in a bit of a slump and trying to shoot his way out of it. I don't mind the bad shooting, but that defense needs to step the flock up!

Edit:  Can't believe I forgot about CC.  Great game from him.

Woj reported earlier today that he wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks hang on to JC past the deadline.

If they keep winning I am not surprised. Much less urgency to break up the team, especially given the dog shit that is being offered..
