Our guards have been playing well together and the defense has been good. 

Dejounte is playing so much better since that Bucks game.

Can anyone explain why the lob has returned to our offense lately? It seems like early in the season teams were effective at taking it away.  Is it because OO and JC are playing together?  Are the screeners just slipping earlier and Trae's finding them?

I personally think it’s two things…

1. OO starting over Capela provides better spacing even though OO isn’t known as a shooter. For whatever reason he’s getting somewhat respected so there’s no huge gaps between OO and the opponent like there would be with CC if he stood in the mid range area.
 

2. Now that we are healthy and some of our core players have gotten out of slumps , we are simply just shooting the 3 ball way better. Gravitational force is back in our favor.

 

on top of the lobs returning, Traes floater has also returned and to me that’s his best most lethal shot.

Not sure, but here CC is setting the screen. But JC cuts for the lob...new wrinkles?

(3-0) in those games.

Moving the ball better and yes that too, they just can't sit back and take it away right now

I loved the way Trae played tonight. He did not get into some kind of shoot out mentality against Luka despite the media wanting that to happen. 18 points, 12 assists on good shooting with 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Trae has been much more actively defense this year especially since the last 7 now 8  games. Love it.

In a sense, Trae's defense and efficient play is why we are winning. 

It's been a team effort though.

Man..I thought Trae cried to refs..but Luka is on a whole notha level! Jeez...even Trae was looking him like., "what a spoiled brat...". Lol.

Something has gotten into Trae.  I'm hoping DJM has been in his ear because he playing like...a team first guy.  He wants to win...I'm hoping he's maturing with DJM's influence.
