Once again, the Hawks thwart a game that would've ended up being a monster game for an opponent.  THj was outstanding tonight.  But Trae and John were just a notch above when it counted the most.

I always think some of the Huerter hate isn’t warranted. He wasn’t a lottery pick, but I think his expectations are as if he was one. To me, he has a good feel for the game. Even if he isn’t shooting well he finds a way to positively impact his team. 

If you don’t think he should start you have a good argument. Beyond that, I can’t find a reason why you wouldn’t want a guy with his skill set on our team.

With all the MAV fans saying that this was a win for them since they didn't really have their two best players (and that most teams don't play Atlanta hard), my head will explode...The reality is we are making progress, pure and simple!!! Cam's game is maturing by the week!!! I really hope Hunter is okay...I think I saw it was personal reasons. Anyone know what the situation is?

He has a high BBIQ on offense, that helps even when his shot isn't falling. His defense is often bad, but it was actually solid tonight, he had 4 steals.

I am a convert...same as I am for Trae...Ironically it came around the same time of the year when I realized we have a stud!!!

For sure. Some of our bad defenders aren’t gifted with a body that helps them easily defend. They have good basketball instincts though, I hope that makes them decent defenders as they get older.

It's dumb to be mad at the call at the end when the alternative would have been so much worse. It may not have been technically the correct call (or maybe it was, idk) but it was definitely the correct call in the spirit of the game. No one was stopping John's putback.

Also....if they waive off the goaltending and dont count the bucket, who's ball would it have been? I'm guessing a jump at center court with 8 seconds left. 

No guarantee they even get the tip or score. They didn't score on the last possession anyway.
