Hunter got a mechanical game but his execution is top notch.

Hunter has come a long way this season as have the Hawks as a whole.  Even missing that many people we still had the firepower to dominate this one on the road.  4 steals for Huerter was as surprising as anything.  Much better defensive discipline in this one but still highly effective on offense with 6 guys in double figures.

hated how much he was slept on this offseason. They'll both be great. Was glad to finally see one of Cam's stretches where he takes over offensively

This is very encouraging.  Hunter and Reddish realizing their potential really elevates the Hawks ceiling this season.  Capela and John were massive.  They beat the doors off the nets with Trae having a mediocre game and no Rondo or Gallo!

Trae did okay but he need to slow down and understand that he doesn't need to shoot all of the time but the Hawks has arrived!

That very well could have happened had Kyrie not caught fire. Could easily be 5-0. But 4-1 looks a heck of a lot better than 3-2. Hawks look like a legit top 3  team in the East. Still need to take the Cavs seriously tomorrow.

Statement game. Going 4-1 with three of those games being against teams with playoff aspirations is excellent.

Pierce has impressed so far. Not much to criticize besides him letting Solomon Hill attempt to make more plays than he should. But I understand Hill brings grit and leadership so I can let that slide. Besides, Hill provides comic relief with his attempts at playmaking.

This was the most the impressive thing with the win, we had active hands and feet all night, played passing lanes, communicated and beat them to all the lose balls.

For some reason it felt like Capella pulled a Shaqian 30-20 game but the box score was much more modest.  His impact was felt.

Hunter has played with confidence all season but this game he switched another gear and started playing mean. He may be dangerous this season.

Combination of John being played at the 5, and Solo getting extended minutes at the 4.  Looks like Bruno will only get extended burn when Collins is clearly undersized vs the opposing team's center.  Solo was ( +20 ) tonight, and played a whopping 24 minutes.

If we're playing defense going small like we did tonight, I pretty much can't complain about Bruno not getting any time.  But he will be needed vs the bigger, more bruising centers.  When Gallinari comes back, LP will probably play Gallo some at the 5, and Solo at the 3.  

Solo is definitely the new Vince.

Yes he did, they kept switching smaller guys on him and he punished them.

Capela had a great stat line 12pts 11 rebounds 6 ASSISTS!!!

Nets tried to "hide" Irving on Hunter and Reddish.  Looks like part of the game plan tonight was to go right at Kyrie and make him defend . . which he did at a far worse job than Trae.

Every time Hunter saw Kyrie on him, his eyes lit up and he took him right to the basket.
