Yeah I can see that, the talent level is very different indeed

Brogdon is a backup wing on a contender. He's good but he's nothing special. Milwaukee was right to have him as a 6th man. He puts up nice numbers but when you really watch him play, he's not that good. 

Turner is kinda limited. 

Dipo hasn't been the same since the injury. 

Sabonis is for real. He's a legit very good player. 

 

While Atlanta is loaded with talent. Even the ones who haven't figured it out yet like Cam and before Nate, Kevin.

Cam could learn a lot from Bogi on offense. Economy of movement, strong center of gravity, control of ball, quick release, textbook shot mechanics, it's all the stuff Cam needs.

Initially happy with the trade for Capela and then the very long rehab which brought questions for me but am now just giddy. A tremendous competitor and tremendous value for us and without him we are not remotely the same.

Great win playing shorthanded tonight.

Looking ahead, the next 6 games are HUGE.

5 more Home games, which will start to even out our gap between road and home games left

5 games against playoff teams: (Bucks x2, Pacers, Heat, Knicks). The outcome of these games will directly effect our playoff standings. They will also apply towards tie breaking scenarios as they are all conference games, with division games in the mix too (Orlando is the other game)

Yea before injury Hunter and Cap were head and shoulders our most valuable players when considering both ends of the court.

These last few games have given me some optimism about us not being so Trae dependent. We havent been as Trae dependent of late, and our team ball has been excellent. I'm not knocking Trae by any means, but for most part since we drafted Trae, our offense has been shit without him,. And in Bogi, we finally have a guy that can run the show almost as effectively. Bogi might not have the gaudy stats, but the eye test suggests his decision making is quite good, and his silky smooth game is very impressive when he has it going.
