True. And if we just so happen to be a first round exit too (obviously hoping we aren't), I won't hold it over him. This is our first season of trying to reestablish ourselves as threats in the East.

Just think that a couple of years ago, Dedmon and Len was our 1-2 punch in the paint. Would either of those guys even get on the court if this team was at full strength, other than garbage time?

Once again, if remotely healthy, which one of those top three teams are perfectly fine with this squad pulling into the parking lot come Round 2? IMHO, having our guys not only return but eventually become effective on the court will NOT be a good thing for the East in a few weeks...

I think he was a victim of his own success there.  He got his teams to overachieve in the regular season to the point that people were unsatisfied with the playoff performances.  Unrealistic view of their own team’s talent.

Let Nate and the Hawks lose in the 1st round 2 - 3 times.

Heck, we got rid of Woody because of poor 2nd round performances.  And he won 53 games in his final year as coach.

Nates defensive system and his personality translates so much more than anything Lloyd could offer.  Nate is winning games without key players thay Lloyd couldn’t dream of winning, Lloyd lost games with healthy units that Nate wouldn’t dare.

Sabonis wasn't even in the bubble last year. He was injured.
