MVP of the series is....obviously Trae on offense. But really our team defense was the MVP.  Knicks could not get any runs going in the series. They struggled to score the entire series except for second half of game 2 when we went ice cold.

Even though I made no predictions before the series I am happy to admit that I was proven wrong.

It's true that the Knicks weren't that great, but I honestly think that even the 60 win team would have found away to let this get to 6 games at least.

While it doesn't look great on the stat sheet it was a convincing series win. Which is a rarity in Hawks history.

Everyone was poised in this series. Players played like vets even though most aren't. That Includes Trae.. Who toned down the reckless play that I am many of others expected from him.

Impressive series win.

I've never seen a Hawks team play defense this well for an entire series.  The defense was definitely the MVP.

The defense in this game in particular, was flat out unbelievable.  Rim protection.  Closing out on shooters.  Keeping people from getting to their spots.  Denying people the ball.  This was a defensive clinic.

I haven't seen defense like this since Josh and the boys shut down Milwaukee in the 3rd quarter of Game 6 in 2010.  Hawks went on something like a 27 - 2 run to take control of that game.  About 1/3 of Hawks fans were ready to write the Hawks off, seeing that we were down 3 - 2, but the boys stepped up big time.
