One of, if not THE greatest side effect of the COVID era (for me anyway) is full time working from home.  No more 330 AM wake up calls to make the commute into the office.  Instead, I roll out of bed at 630 and stroll across the house to the office.  And therefore, no need to pre-game nap or miss the west coast trips anymore.  I feel ya though.  Nothing worse than staying up for a late game and then having a short rest to get up for work the next day.  Especially if the worst should happen the night before.  Ugh.

Unfortunately, I let curiosity get the best of me and visited the General Board after Game 7. The Bucks fans are saying the exact same things the Knicks and 76ers fans were saying before reality kicked in. Apparently, this is the "best defense in the East" (3rd time hearing this) and they have the personnel to neutralize Trae (3rd time hearing this). They are also the better team (3rd time hearing this) and will win in 4-5 games (3rd time hearing this). I'll admit I'm nervous but seeing this pattern of everyone underestimating the Hawks bodes well for this series. Hopefully, the Hawks follow the pattern and take Game 1.

So the chick fil a thing worked for the last series, and since I’m not a “napper” like campster I was thinking this round I’d hurl myself into the Pacific Ocean before each game!  

Any thoughts?

Much like my ability to stop typing once I build a head of steam, Bogi (sore knee) and the upgraded Cam (sore Achilles) are listed as questionable on the 5:30 boo-boo repot. Huerter is probable despite a sore ankle. The only Buck whose status was up-in-the-air before gametime is the lightly used Jordan Nwora, who is upgraded to probable (bruised thigh).

Sounds like the writer slightly favors the Hawks.  Smart man.

I think the series is ours if we rebound like gangbusters.  Possessions being equal I think ours are more variable and of slightly higher quality.  I don’t think they shoot the three as well as their numbers say and we have the huge FT taking and shooting edge.

Protect the ball, rebound hard, and continue the outstanding help defense and Bud’ll be outta there as quick as the bartender can pour him a double Jack.
