Thank you Charles.  Eliminate them halfcourt 3 pointers and concentrate on running the floor and Trae would be a LEGIT superstar.  Trae has had a good game so far with the exception of a couple of possessions.  The Hawks have weapons around him, so keep them involved.

Hawks need to protect the rim and paint better. Way too many close buckets.

Also Derrick Rose seems to be getting into the paint at will, that adjustment needs to be made ASAP.

Trae only actually took two threes I believe and with the second one it was a two for one...although he could've tried to go to the hoop there I think?

The biggest problem of this first half was both Bogi and Gallo aren't hitting from three.

He's found John Collins for about 3 of his baskets, including a few threes.

Bogi and Gallo are 0 - 8 from 3.

Capela is seeing the lane being packed, to prevent the pick and roll.

 

What should Trae do?

That was a good first half.  I wish the lead was bigger.  

Trae is playing well 6 assists with no turnovers.  We need to hit our open shots Trae sets up. I need Bogi to get that stroke back.  Gallo needs to get his three pointer going.

Defense is the second quarter was not acceptable. 

Let's lock down the paint and get this win fellas.

John also came to play too.  Defense and offense.  Earn that bag JC.

I want this win so badly.  I'll be back after the game.

Hunter only has 12 minutes so hopefully that means he can go 18 in the second half.

Edit: Kevin is doing great too.

This, and we gave up 34 points in that 2nd quarter. We've gotta be better in the 2nd half.

With Bogi and Gallo not hitting so far, it's Trae that has to force the scoring. Love the way he has been playing so far today, 0 turnovers, not forcing bad outside shots, getting inside and that floater is on fire.

Good job Trae. NOW you can bust them with a a couple of threes because you have attacked the rim and have the knicks on their heels.

We gotta play Trae Ball. That's what they forcing us to do. They don't want Bogi to go off or any wing outside of Hunter who they realize isn't in complete game shape yet

It's Johnny MAX!!

Been mostly Deandre, Collins has allowed the majority of those 4 shots, not sure he has scored a single bucket on Hunter. Hunter has been fantastic on defense.
