I believe in Ian. If he can get anything back from what he had going in the playoffs last year, we are in good shape. He hasn’t been the same pitcher but I can see him coming up strong. He’s a composed young man.

I’ll be damned if J Kidd hasn’t devised a scheme to steal coaches checks from half the league.  Luckily he doesn’t speak to his son or he’d be strong arming Cuban for him to be his lead assistant.  I can only imagine how Cuban coped with that loss last night.  From the same starting point the Hawks have lapped him twice.  Damn man.

It's funny how the national guys are barely discussing the Hawks beatdown of the Mavs.  If it was the other way around, it'll be all over every where. 

It's also funny how they already have a built in excuse  for Luka or Dallas not doing well.  It's Jason Kidd's fault and the Mav's management fault Luka isn't winning.

Let me show you why Luka wasn't winning last night.

OMFG I was gonna say it but didn't wanna give them any pub.  If there was an outstanding performance on the other side, it would lead off these shows.  As it is, they've basically given us the score-only treatment .... oh but didja see the HEAT, blah, blah, blah!!!

Yeah he went in on Chuck.  Said stte if you're on a national spotlight, you owe it to the people to be unbiased.

What a lockdown on Luka but that game is just going to embolden Mavs fans who think the players suck.   Is it that Luka doesn't get others involved well enough or the others just suck?   Or is it both?

I know as a Hawks fan no one will take me seriously outside of this board with this opinion BUT...

Doncic really became the most overrated player in the NBA over the last 18 months.  He is a good scorer and he racks up numbers because his usage is historically high, but his playmaking is really not that impressive.  I mean, look at his top 10 "magical" passes in the video below.

10. Basic full court pass

9. Not even an actual pass if you watch in slow motion; he just got blocked and the announcers start foaming at the no-look pass lmao

8. Every PG makes this play every few games

7. Good pass

6. Trae does this every night

5. The "looks off the defense" didn't even do anything but chub up the annoucner.  Basic lob.

I honestly think Trae is a better player and an infinitely better passer and creator.  He can get to anywhere on the court at will because of his speed and quickness.  His passes are nice because they're opening up plays that would not be there if not for Trae's instinct and vision.  Luka's good passes are a lot of unnecessary flair instead of opening up a play that wasn't already there.  I'm so happy we have Trae AND Cam.

The Mavs were doomed to fail when they tried 'let's hunt Trae on defense' by posting up Finney on Trae- THAT'S NOT HIS GAME!!!.
