The long 3, he was open.  He just missed the shot.   Heat didn't score.   Trae ends up getting 2 FTs to put us up by 2.

PJ Tucker forced the turnover when Trae's handle got loose, and Kevin fouled PJ . . with the game tied.

The drive to the hoop, he was being aggressive and not settling for the bomb ( that ya'll hate ), but the Heat made a great play to draw a charge.  Head's up to them.

 

There's a big difference in blowing a game, and not making game winning plays.  Trae didn't make enough game winning plays at the end.  He didn't blow the game.

He blew the game when he decided to dribble the ball for 18 seconds and not look for the right play.  Everyone started standing around looking at him which they need to work on.

It's okay to criticize Trae as the best player on the team.  I give him credit when he plays well which he did for all about 1.5 minutes of the game.  

This isn't me saying he isn't a closer like some.  He's closed games for us plenty of times. 

We need to get this game against the Knicks and if they play with the same energy on both sides they will. 

Miami is tough because they through so much at you schmeatically.  The Knicks, not so much.

 The best thing to do is let him say his piece and move on because he will NEVER say anything positive about this team.

But it was a good game, some mistakes here and there and we do need to make our shots and clean up some of the errors.

But I think we need a trade soon if we do want to climb up the standings.

There is nothing frustrating about the second leading vote getter in the east allstar race. Sometimes I think people get so blinded by the thought of winning a championship, they forget about how hard it is to even win in this league. We have NEVER had a player like Trae in twenty years and you guys are ready to trade him for speedy Claxton or mike Bibby type guys.  Oh how soon we forget where we come from.
