An interesting stat would be "how many games are lost when he dribbles down the  clock, then commits a turnover or throws up an awkward  shot that has no chance of going in.  Whether that is Trae's call or Nate's, it needs to stop.

I would bet that it's far less than what you think it is.  He's made way too many late game floaters and 3's with the game less than 2 minutes, to think that Trae turning the ball over is the norm.

He may not make the shots all of the time, but most of the time, he does get the shot off.

Not this year. He and the team have been awful late in games.

He might not be if this season keeps going south...

I'm starting to wonder how much input Travis had in putting that Warriors championship team together.  Bob Myers, the GM,  has been there the whole time.  He signed their big three, put bodies around them, won championships, dismantled the team,  went into free agency and got Wiggins and Porter, went into the lottery and got Jordan Poole who is averaging 17 points a game, and Kuminga who scored 25 points with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and a steal against the Bulls yesterday.  They got Moody in the lottery as well who is developing nicely in the G League.  They sit right at the top of the West.

Meanwhile, Travis QUESTIONABLY built his team around a ball hogging undersized guard instead of Luka Doncic, busted on Bruno, busted on Reddish, drafted a oft injuried Hunter (injuries at Virginia), overpaid for Bogi, busted on Rondo, questionably signed Wright, Capela and Williams have regressed, doesn't require his coach to play Johnson or Cooper, and is rumored to be trading the next best player on the team, John Collins, out of town.  Meanwhile, free agents like DeMar DeRozan, Steven Adams, etc. were available on his watch and could have been easily gotten to improve this Hawks roster.  Not 5 years into his rebuild, he is about to tear it apart, with the consolidation prize being a guard who doesn't like to shoot.  The Hawks could end up with a guard who shoots too much, and a guard who doesn't shoot one bit. LMAO.

Why is OO getting 16 minutes even with CC out? WTF is wrong with Nate.

Nate doesn't trust OO yet.   Somebody on the broadcast team shared that...basically.   However, admittedly, OO had a terrible game up until the 4th quarter. Right now, OO doesn't play good man to man defense.   He's a great help defender but vets can get him off his feet too easy, he makes petty fouls, he is easy to draw out of place.   I watched OO extremely hard tonight.. He had 3 fouls in the first half and he only played sparingly in that time.   Right now, he still needs to a be a BU to Clint but his very solid 4th is what we seek.   It won't take him long to get there and hopefully Nate begins to trust him more.

It's not just the shot.  It's the timing of the shot.  It was at the end of the quarter, in the middle of a tight game... when our offense wasn't even set.   Nate should ban that shot in the last 4 minutes of games because when it misses, it just kills our offense and momentum.  If you want to do something... Beat the defense up the court.... drive the ball while they are not set.  Force them to foul.   But the Hero shot... Nah.

Its like watching Bazemore or Josh Smith but those two couldn't shoot that well and they didn't live and die on the ball

That Luka trade will haunt Atlanta if changes aren't made.
