Nice win.  Very hard on the nerves.  

0017 will go back to the bench when Capela returns.  That's as it should be.  Player shouldn't lose his place while he's out with an injury.  He may find his minutes cut way down.

Capela will probably find himself on the bench late in the 4th quarter in any close game.

Side note:  Please do not take the problem child away from the 76ers.  He might do well in Atlanta and he might not.  The cost of finding out is much too high.

It feels good to be on the winning side again.  Keep it up Friday!!

I also went to the Hawks store and got some cool stuff. A new yellow Hawks hat, city edition t shirt, hoodie with the yellow hawks pac man on it, city edition socks too. Those look so good. I couldn't resist. 

Btw if any of you guys or gals want a city edition jersey of players other than Trae they had a lot for sale in the arena store.

Well he played really solid defense down the stretch last year so we know he can play better than he's playing on that end.

I'm just saying.  There are teams that have 2-guards that are anything from defensive specialists or hired guns.

I said 2 years ago, that Hunter could give teams major problems, if he were to play the 2 and the 3, instead of the 3 and the 4.

To me, he's more of a pure wing that can play SG, than a hybrid SF that can play the 4.

I haven't sifted through this thread but what's the thoughts on JC being lifted for Gallo the last 2 minutes?  Is it just better perimeter D?   who'd of thought Gallo would be a defensive sub.

I haven't looked at it myself but it sounds like this may be what Jimi Buttler did in their game last night.

MIN seems to be a bad matchup for Jollins.  Their frontcourt guys are either too big or too slippery for him.

Then again, as I keep tellin y'all, Gallo has been our 2nd best player for a couple weeks now.

This is the truth.   To me the same should apply to Bogi assuming he can really be healthy.  These guys didn't forget how to play basketball.  They just weren't in shape for it.  That and team chemistry was terrible with all the missed games.

They need to figure out how/why they allowed a supernova to detonate in that 3rd quarter.

Man, anybody that doesn't think Trae deserves to be an all-star, like how?  Why, even?  I get our record isn't what it should be but it ain't because he's not an all-NBA caliber player.

I think it speaks more to OO than anything. As long as Clint is out, Nate wants to go to JC and Gallo sharing the floor more often. But OO was just too good last night defensively to take out the game.

Also, and I almost forgot about this, but JC did foul out of the game around the 2 minute mark, so that was technically the real reason lol

Give Nate some credit.

They got rid of Cam.  Quit giving TLC minutes.  OO is now playing 30 minutes and looking like an all star out there.  Lou has a short leash.  Gallo is being put in lineups with the starters and bringing it.   

And Kevin Knox is the steal of the century.  Shooting 50% as a Hawk

It was nice that KAT got caught on his cowardly kick at the end of the third.   That was weak.

They must not have been watching in the first half, when the refs literally were taking points off the board from us with those and-1 no calls. Then turn around and allow their guys a courtesy dribble and everything and still get and-1's. But the refs were helping us? Those refs were trash for most of the game.
