Game ball goes to @marco102.  His play down the stretch was unmatched. Felt like we got Pat Beverly in that trade as well as Lou watching him go after the other guy and get in his head the way he did.

Most former players who commentate have far more charisma, wit beyond a forced laugh in response to Bob’s jokes, player facts, applicable stats, and eloquence in talking the nuances of the  game beyond the blatantly obvious than Nique.  Let alone basic grammatical and pronunciation skills.  He’s a$$ bruh just accept it.

Surprise!  Surprise!  Hawks win!  Worthy opponent, smarting over their last game, a loss, came to Atlanta.  They had 2 starters back and expected to take it out on the Hawks.  Weary after our 8 game trek out west, the Hawks stuck with them until late in the game, then slipped away for the victory.

Early returns from our latest trade.  Both teams win their games.  Rondo had a +2.  Lou had a +19.  In the final minutes of our game Capela joined our bench players to slam the door on our visitor.  When has this ever happened before?  I don't remember any time.

Also, we read that Lou has taken Agent 0017 "under his wing" as a personal project.  It seems to be paying off big time.  Rookie and veteran.  Last season it was Reddish.  It works when a veteran really cares.  Tied for 4th place!  Some how, this just feels like a giant, wonderful victory !!

Carey was garbage but so was the Cubs. It played to their appeal

Also, I'm about to lose it on realgm.  There are some actual idiots masquerading as basketball fans.  I have no idea how yall deal with it.

To be fair, he was tearing it up in Houston too, just flying under the radar because eveyrone said "he's good because of Harden".

I am doing much better today and yesterday. 

I had to be at the doc again on Sat. It was extremely rough.

From my experience with bad food poising which is completely anecdotal, I'm hoping that a week out from this you are fully recovered (if not earlier).  Do you know what caused it?

Big Macs and those BBQ-covered rubber pork things were both favs of mine 20 years ago. I still do the occasional QPounder or Filet-o-Fish, but suffice it to say, these last 20 years or so have been much more... let's just say... "regular."

How many times in the past few seasons could we have said the Hawks didn’t get a good game out of their best player, were missing their two other best players and still ended up winning against a team that isn’t tanking? Zero times? Once?

It’s a testament to how far this team has come from last season’s 20-47 record in a rebuilding year and to where it was under Lloyd Pierce, a coach it had lost faith in before he was fired last month. The Hawks are now 14-5 in games coached by interim coach Nate McMillan, who was named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for March................

I haven't eaten there in decades but I'm the guy who invented putting fries on a quarter pounder with cheese.   And i aint lying.

Been there a couple of times, burger king in both instances. Felt like an idiot for it happening the second time even though it was many years in between.... safe to say though I'm never eating there anywhere in the world ever again after that. Good thing is recovery is quick after the you get all the junk out of your system.

While i agree with him it kind of ignores the fact that Gallo, Bogi, and Lou Will weren't really there for LP consistently early on.
