Honestly, I thought it would be much worse.

 

The longer the Hawks stick around in this game, the tighter it's going to get for the Sixers.  That team is NOT going to come back on us, if we have a sizeable lead in the 4th quarter.  You see how their crowd reacts whenever the Sixers are down or not playing well.  They're a very negative fan base.  That Philly negative energy is worse than in New York.

The fact that the road team has won 4 of the 6 games in this series, means that the home court has not really been an advantage.  It's all about the players and the adjustments made by coaches.

 

The biggest adjustment I want Nate to make, is to play BIG whenever the Sixers have Embiid - Harris - Simmons in the game.  And don't be so quick to revert to Hack a Ben, if we're only down a few points and actually playing good defense.  And I need Gallo playing 30 minutes, if possible.  This means that Nate has to commit to playing the big lineup.

 

The only good thing about tonight is that the Hawks can make the rationalization that they beat themselves, and not the Sixers beat them.  Tomorrow will be interesting.  A legacy game for Embiid and Trae, with someone secondary probably being the true hero.  I say it's going to be Gallinari.

Hopefully we get “max” Collins tomorrow and at least 10-12 from Lou to help Trae and Gallo.

DeRozan isn't coming off the bench, and Schröder's ego won't allow him to be a bench player either.

I got to give the home crowd some blame for the loss. Lol. The folks on the floor left their seats at half time presumably to get something to eat and chit chat and didn’t get back to their seats until 5 mins passed in the third quarter. Philly was up by 10 when they sat back down. We lost by 5.

It’s cool.  Should’ve gotten up a few more threes and I’m sure that’s the worst FT shooting performance from the team under Nate.  Maxey shouldn’t go crazy on us again and even if hurt I expect Bogi to atone for his poor play all series (88 offensive rating, ugh).  Wish Cam was here with the sole role of ball denying Curry.  He’s basically been their savior.

I rarely question the lineups coaches choose.  I’m just not very perceptive at it. But for those who can am I tripping wanting OO to take a chunk out of Capela’s minutes with the first unit?  He’s been a fish out of water all series against Embiid.  I’d take my chances with Onyeka positively effecting the game through drawing fouls and converting at the line, the two areas we aren’t getting anything from Clint.

Bogi being outplayed all series by Curry is a major disappointment..

Trae draws their best defender and Bogi cant put up 10 points with Curry and Kormaz guarding him?

Perhaps Trae's friend in Utah wants out after being eliminated again?

Now if we win Sunday,  and Bogi goes off, forget about all of this.....lol

Id take Rose backing up Trae in a heartbeat..But Im going after TJ McConnel first since he knows Nates system..Hes also a known Hawks killer..lol

OO Simmons'd two free throws in crunch time and the defense on Flopbiid could be worse, so I'm not ready to toss Capela out just yet.  There are some plays where OO shows he's a rookie and needing his grown man strength.

I still believe in this team, even know that somebody has to step up to the plate and help out Trae.  He can not do this by himself.  Bogi, Collins or Sweet or Sour Lou has to step up, no matter what.

i would like to see us shoot a better percentage,  i would also like to see us handle the ball better under their defensive pressure.

That was indeed a momentum killer. The Hawks were looking to end the 76ers right then and there like they had the two previous games. It was a one point lead at that time.
